Our story
What services does Texas Care provide?
Mental and behavioral health services for children, young people and adults — including skills training, targeted case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, mental health rehabilitation, psychotherapy, crisis intervention and telehealth. Every service is personalized to help manage emotions, improve behavior, build coping and communication skills, and connect families with helpful community resources.
Who is eligible for services?
Eligibility varies by location, but we generally accept these Medicaid plans: Texas Children’s Health Plan, Community Health Choice and Molina. We’ll review your insurance during intake.
How do I get started?
Choose the youth or adult intake above, in English or Spanish. After intake and consent, we schedule an assessment and then pair you with a QMHP.
Do you serve Spanish-speaking families?
Yes — both youth and adult intake forms are available in Spanish (Admisión Juvenil and Admisión Para Adultos).
Where do sessions take place?
Wherever works best for your family — at home, at school, in the community, or through secure telehealth.
